Danes know Silkeborg as the small town featured in the '97 documentary "Headbang i hovedlandet'. German tourists know it as the scenic, cozy town close to Aarhus. To Fordærv, Kokain and Bonejammer, Silkeborg is home, and Nu Det Nu is the essence of what metal and punk from there should sound like.

Nu Det Nu, a Danish term that doesn't bear translation terribly well but adequately signifies frantic urgency, is a split release about what music from Silkeborg is. Between the eight members across three bands, they form a central part of the local scene, pushing forward their tough grindcore, alcoholic hardcore punk and thrash-punk crossover.
